URBAN SOLACE. Amphil Residence sits on 1.121-acres of prime freehold land located along the Jalan Ampang Hilir Embassy Row. This puts it within the designated International Zone of the Kuala Lumpur Master Plan.
The main focus of the design is to provide quality living with two intrinsic characteristics one of pleasant and luxurious urban living and the other of green respite. The two wings of the building have been oriented to take full advantage of the sorrounding views of the KL city skyline and the distant hills of the Klang Valley. Premium units were placed to maximize the KLCC views.
As the development is wedged within a very urban setting, emphasis is given to freeing up the ground plane in order to maximize the internal landscape environment. By doing so, the focus can be directed internally and emphasis given to the seamless flow of in-door facilities with outdoor gardens.
This 17-storey luxury condominium comprises 3 main unit types. These are sized at 3,500 square feet, 4,000 square feet and as big as 19,000 square feet for the Triplex Penthouses. In the penthouses, a clear separation of function is made by floor. The most private spaces are placed on the lowest floor for privacy and security, the middle floor houses the living and entertainment area whereas the top-most floor is decked out with a swimming pool, roof garden and lounges with panoramic views of the city.
The facade has been designed to be environmentally responsive. Shading devices such as moveable louvres, deep ledges and horizontal and vertical fins are combined to form a distinct architectural signature. These are carefully balanced to achieve unobstructed views whilst modulating daylight penetration and heat gain.
In keeping with the idea of a low-impact lifestyle, conscious strategies were applied to minimise the carbon footprint and to ensure Green Mark certification. In combination with the observance of the highest rated construction quality standards, Conquas, an overall quality product is thus assured.
