CHISELLED JEWEL. The site of this mixed development is located in a prominent location within the KLCC vicinity. It is surrounded by the KLCC Convention Centre, Mandarin Oriental Hotel and several upscale retail centres.

The site constraints resulted in a layout consisting of a 50-storey tower at the north-eastern end of the site and a podium, which displays the facilities of the hotel. Hotel guest rooms and suites are located on the upper levels. The hotel lobby and podium are at the lower levels. Sandwiched in-between are the offices and the serviced apartments.

A special feature of the Hotel is the Sky Lobby with commanding views of KLCC and the park. The service core is relatively large due to the many lift banks required to serve the numerous components within the tower.

Public and hotel facilities are located on at the lower ground levels where there are Food and Beverage outlets, an oval-shaped pool with cascading levels and a business centre. An exclusive landscaped Spa is also found at this level. Guestrooms are laid out to maximise views, especially the suites on the upper floors of the tower.

The building strikes a sleek silhouette in the KLCC skyline. Its glass facade is etched with staggered lines and is crowned by an iconic feature at the top. It is designed to have a strong presence within this enclave of prominent buildings.
