Aneka Walk is a canopied urban promenade in SA Sentral, Shah Alam, designed to accommodate 10,000–15,000 visitors and serve as a public promenade, retail, and event destination. 

Conceived as a social and cultural catalyst for the district, the design reimagines the commercial street as a ‘garden in the city’ – weaving together design, landscape, and public life into a seamless civic experience. Aneka Walk is a vibrant hub for public life in Shah Alam.

The structure features a high-tech roofing system combining PTFE and ETFE membranes supported by prefabricated steel framing wrapped in aluminium cladding – an innovative material palette that demanded close coordination across design and construction stages. The result is a light-filled, biophilic environment that demonstrates how contemporary design can elevate everyday civic spaces.
