The sunken plaza at the TRX City Financial Quarter is designed as a gathering space to encourage interactivity and connection through placemaking. Serving as a central pedestrian hub, it integrates amphitheatre-like elements while harmonising with surrounding structures. By embroidering circulation, landscaping and sheltered area, it offers a space for respite amongst the surrounding towers. Constructed primarily from glass-fibre reinforced concrete and steel, its structure evokes a raw, industrial feel. Terraced arrangement provides informal seating amongst greenery and adaptable to be a performance space for public events.
