The Legacy OUG, located in Taman Overseas Union, is a 442-unit residential tower that reimagines high-rise living by embracing the last green pocket in OUG. The building serves as a vertical extension of nature, rising sensitively within the low-rise residential fabric as a distinctive yet contextual landmark.

Brick forms the primary facade material, bringing a grounded, tactile quality uncommon in vertical architecture. The brickwork evolves into a double-skin facade with rhythmic variations that subtly reveal internal spatial organization. Integrated overhangs and layering create natural sun-shading, promote ventilation, and regulate temperatures, addressing tropical climate demands while adding visual depth.

Using Malaysia’s most common construction material – clay brick – in varied arrangements, the project creates a high-rise building skin that breathes, shades, and cools, merging design and nature together.
