We are seeking a Signage Designer with 3 – 5 years of professional experience to join Adaptus, a division under GDP Architects. A strong interest in the built environment is essential, as the successful candidate will work closely with architects and interior designers to deliver wayfinding, environmental graphics, and signage design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams, GDP studios, and external consultants to coordinate wayfinding and signage design solutions.
- Liaise regularly with team members and provide timely updates to the Manager, Project Manager, and Clients.
- Manage wayfinding projects independently while leading and guiding junior designers across multiple projects.
- Deliver projects from concept design to completion, including design development, tender documentation, final artwork preparation, and construction oversight.
- Ensure adherence to design briefs, budgets, and project timelines, including the review of signage samples, fabrication, and installation for quality assurance.
- Audit and analyze vehicular and pedestrian circulation to identify effective wayfinding solutions and information hierarchy strategies.
- Produce detailed drawings incorporating graphic elements such as structure, material, color, typography, and pictograms in alignment with the project’s overall concept and direction.
Qualifications
- Formal education in Graphic Design or related fields, with relevant working experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, attention to detail, and project management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other GDP studios, ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders for timely project delivery.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Keynote, SketchUp, and Vectorworks (or equivalent).
