MRCB Tower [Selbourne Tower] is part of mixed commercial development complex consisting of a 4-star hotel, retail units, a serviced apartment and an office building. It is located at the heart of the Shah Alam Commercial district in Selangor. The office tower is 25-storeys tall, sitting on a 3-level basement parking structure; a simple rectangular box with service cores located at both ends of the building. The design of the typical floor plan was guided by small shifts in axes and diametrically opposed elements as determined by practicality and use. The building was designed for simplicity and functionality, from the louver grid of its elevation to the solid walled service cores at the building ends.
