The Quayside condominiums are located within the Seri Tanjung Pinang waterfront community, northeast of the Penang island, catching a glimpse of the Andaman Sea. The 21-acres development is built on reclaimed land, part of the new coastline along Tanjong Bungah forming a land outcrop of 240 acres. The client plans to expand the reclamation project further offshore, creating an artificial island, adding another 740 acres to the bigger development.
The construction of the first four towers began in April 2010 and the water park followed suit in May 2011 – both are expected to be completed simultaneously and ready for Vacant Possession in December 2012. The remaining 3 towers, called the Andaman Series have already commenced on site in November 2011.
