Sierramas Greenstreet Bungalows
The Greenstreet Bungalows consist of 20 bungalows located along the southern ridge of an oil palm-covered ravine. Originally designed with the living rooms as pavilions, which danced along the slope, economics had the units evolved to their final, more compact, state. The narrowness of the ‘zero lot line’ boundary widths for the ‘greenstreet’ precinct made it possible to put more lots along any one street. This one exemption from local bylaws became the generating idea for the courtyards in the final scheme, the exterior boundary wall of each bungalow being designed to be the garden wall for the courtyard of the adjoining lot.
