Kamil Merican is a founding partner and CEO of GDP Architects. With 40 years of experience, he has received awards from PAM, RIBA, and the Aga Khan Award for Architecture. He studied at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and the Architectural Association, UK.

Kamal studied at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and the Architecture Association, UK. He joined GDP in 1990, and as Design Director he has extensive experience across a wide range of Malaysia’s institutional and commercial projects; such as the LRT, Express Rail Link and KKR2 Tower.

With 26 years of architectural experience, Haziph has designed and delivered on a wide range of hospitality and institutional projects; such as the Lone Pine Hotel Penang and the University Teknologi Petronas. He studied at the University of Bath and The Glasgow School of Art.

Yeo is a director at GDP, with 37 years of architectural experience. He has worked and won awards for projects such as the Intermark, and The Aga Khan Award for Architecture for the Universiti Teknologi Petronas. He studied at the University of Melbourne.

Gan is an experienced architect with over 30 years of experience. He joined GDP architects in 1992, and has worked on many award winning projects such as the AZRB building and  HSBC Malaysia corporate headquarters. Gan studied at the Architectural Association, UK.

With 30 years of experience, Wan Bahrum is a director at GDP. He has designed and delivered on a variety of projects such as KL Ascott, One Menerung Condominium, and Tropicana City Centre. He studied at the Architectural Association, UK.

Rashdan is a director at GDP, with a speciality in healthcare architecture. His work includes projects such as The Astaka, Villa Loca and the National Institute of Health. He studied at the Mississippi State University’s School of Architecture, USA.

Shamsul has 20 years of experience at GDP, overseeing projects such as KL Sentral, Pavilion Residences, Permata Sapura and the Express Rail Link. He studied at Universiti Teknologi Mara and the University of Sheffield.

Chew Ping is a director at GDP, with over 20 years of experience in architecture. She has worked on a variety of award winning projects, from complex mixed-use developments to commercial towers and high-rise residential towers. She studied at the University of Melbourne.

Hafiz is a director at GDP, with over 20 years of experience in architecture. He has worked on notable projects such as the Utusan Malaysia HQ and the Financial Education Campus. He studied at Universiti Teknologi Mara.

Shah is a director at GDP with over 20 years of of architectural experience. He has designed and led projects across multiple typologies, such as the KKR2 tower, Media City and Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers. He studied at John Moore University, UK.

Fathuddin joined GDP Planners in 2018, and has played a a pivotal role in the planning division; overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects including residential, commercial, mixed-use, and urban design. He studied at Universiti Teknologi Mara.

With 32 years of architectural experience, Ng has designed and delivered on notable institutional and residential projects such as the, Universiti Teknologi Petronas and The Troika. He studied at the University Of Melbourne.

Tengku Azam has a wide range of experience in both the public and private sector. As Lead Coordination Consultant, he worked on the integrated masterplan for Bank Negara Malaysia’s Financial Educational Campus. His work also includes the Meydan Mixed Development in Dubai, UAE.

Bibi is has over 17 years of architectural experience, and has designed and delivered award winning projects such as the EQ hotel, Kuala Lumpur. She studied at Robert Gordon University, UK.

With over 20 years of experience leading landmark projects in Malaysia, Yunus has demonstrated design sensitivity and technical skills in managing complex projects. He studied at Universiti Technologi Mara, and previously worked as an architect in Dubai, UAE.

Jaya is an experienced architect with over 13 years of experience. He has designed and delivered projects in residential, office and hospitality typologies. He studied at Robert Gordon University, UK.

Feeda studied at Texas Tech University, USA. He joined GDP in 1994, and has 20 years of architectural experience. He has a passion for hospitality, and strives to extend the design experience into residential projects as well.

With 15 years of architectural experience, Clarence is an established architect with a strong focus on commercial and retail projects. He has contributed to numerous award-winning projects, including the iconic Nu Central and One Sentral developments. He studied at the University of Malaya.

Razief specializes in project management and contract administration at GDP since 2011. He managed Tropicana Gardens’ six building submissions and overlapping construction phases for almost ten years. He studied at the Robert Gordon University, UK.

Marhami has 20 years of experience, contributing to projects such as Battersea Power Station and Manchester Town Hall in the UK. He started his career at GDP Architects in 1996, designing the Multimedia University campus and Ministry of Finance.

With over 25 years of experience in architecture and planning, Yap has worked on the design and delivery of retail, commercial and hospitality projects. He studied at the University of Greenwich, UK.

Haslinda has 15 years of architectural experience and has worked on residential and commercial projects, such as the award winning St Mary Residences and The Peak, Damansara Heights. She studied at Curtin University of Technology, Australia.

With 18 years of architectural experience, Nur Azlina has contributed to a diverse range of projects at GDP. Her passion lies in technical architectural design and the integration of innovative building technologies. She studied at Polytechnic Sultan Ahmad Shah.

Siang Ying, has 14 years of architectural experience, and has worked on diverse residential, commercial, and urban planning projects. Her focus is on integrated architecture that promotes well-being and benefits users and communities. She studied at University Technology Malaysia.

Mooi San, studied at Deakin University in Australia, and has over 20 years of experience at GDP architects. Her expertise includes working on award-winning commercial and residential projects such as the Troika, Kuala Lumpur.

Wai Hong has 10 years of architectural experience and was previously at Foster + Partners, where he worked on prestigious award winning projects such as the Apple Dubai Mall and Apple Piazza Liberty. He studied at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UK.

Nor Azlina has been with GDP since 2012, and worked on various integrated projects such as SJCC, TRX Masterplan and Pavilion Hotel. She studied at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

Rashiqah has over 17 years of experience, and has been involved in the design and delivery of a variety of projects, such as TRX City and Merdeka Mall KL 118. She studied at University Teknologi Malaysia.

Alvin is an experienced architect with over 10 years of experience. He has been involved in the design and implementation of residential, commercial, office and mixed development projects. He studied at the University of Melbourne.

Khazani has been at GDP for 15 years, contributing to projects from design to completion including NuSentral, The Altium, and KL Pavilion residences. He studied at Universiti Teknologi Mara.

As an architect, Andrew is interested in designing good public buildings and spaces. He has been involved in the design and delivery of complex integrated developments such as the Bukit Bintang City Centre (BBCC). Andrew studied at the University of Melbourne.

Nor Azlina has over 29 years of architectural experience, during which she has honed her expertise in designing and delivering commercial and retail projects. She studied  at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

Alphonsus is an associate of GDP Architects, and joined GDP in 2003. He has worked on a wide range of residential, hospitality and mixed use projects such as the KL Eco City development. He studied at the  University of New South Wales, Sydney.

Zaidi is an experienced architect with 23 years of experience. His expertise include a wide range of projects within healthcare, residential and mixed use typologies. He studied at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

For over a decade, Tiar has advanced at GDP Architects and contributed to several large-scale projects, including award-winning designs such as KKR2 Tower and Utusan Melayu Corporate Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. He studied at Universiti Teknologi Mara.

Melati is an associate, who has worked on various projects at GDP including commercial and retail , mixed-use, and residential developments. Her passions lie in regeneration and reuse of land and buildings. She studied at Deakin University, Australia.

With 28 years of architectural experience, Zainuddin has been involved in projects such as the Panggung Anniversary and Boat House, and Utusan Melayu Corporate Headquarters. He studied at the Universiti Teknologi Mara.

Faizal joined GDP in 2008, and has spent the last decade fully immersed in a wide range of projects from urban masterplans, offices, institutional, residential  and hospitality developments. He studied at the Universiti Teknologi Mara.

Sarah studied at RMIT University in Melbourne, where she later became a tutor and co-ran a design studio, while practicing at Fender Katsalidis Architects. Currently, Sarah co-heads R+, an all-female unit specializing in applied design research and strategies, founded in 2020.

Christopher studied at Oxford Brookes and the Architectural Association, UK. He has worked on award winning projects in the UK, and has led a wide range of projects at GDP which include institutional, commercial, retail and residential developments.

Qayyum, a qualified architect with 10 years of experience, excels at aligning client goals with his design vision. He is currently involved in a wide range of projects, from landed residential to complex hill slope development. He studied at The University of Auckland, NZ.

Danial studied at University Teknologi Mara, and the University of East London. He has been involved in various residential and hospitality projects at GDP, such as the award winning Spice Hotel Penang.

With over a decade of experience, Farhana has led a range of notable projects including Masjid Albukhary Penang, Setia Federal Hill Master Plan, and Enlace Commercial for Pantai Sentral Park. She studied at the University Science Malaysia.

Hazimin has over 10 years of experience at GDP, where he has worked on residential projects such as the ‘The Astaka’ tower in Johor. He studied at the University of Newcastle, Australia.
