Galeri Azman Hashim is a platform that fosters Sabah’s up-and-coming artists, serving as a continuous journey of artwork. It features raw-finished concrete, deliberately selected as a blank canvas to inspire creativity and seamlessly blend with the surrounding natural environment. The circular icon offers event facilities and a public sea-facing viewing deck, easily accessible through a structure inspired by the traditional ‘bubu’ fish trap. Positioned at the highest point of UMS Kota Kinabalu, amidst lush forests and visible from the sea, it envisions itself as a new beacon for Kota Kinabalu.
