The UTP E&P Research Centre is the first of a series of custom-designed buildings to house research and development programmes carried out by Universiti Teknologi Petronas. It is a 4 storey building consisting of laboratories designed for the research and development of CO2 Management, Enhanced Oil Recovery and other Exploration and Production programmes, and it includes a covered outdoor laboratory space for more robust research activities. The building is sensitively sited to minimize effects on the heavily forested areas within the research and development enclave to the south-west of the main campus.
